INTRODUCING THREE NEW MORLEY AUDIO SOLUTIONS
January 2020—Morley®, makers of Wah, Volume and Switching devices announced the release of three new audio solution devices. The Morley® Hum Exterminator™, The Morley® Hum Eliminator® and the Morley® Line Level Shifter. Each device is designed to fix specific issues related to ground hum, noise, unbalanced cables and/or signal voltage.
The Morley® Hum Exterminator™ is a ground filter device used to prevent ground hum. Simply place on the power plug of the offending device and noise is gone! For use on devices with current draw of 6 amps (720 watts) or less.
The Morley® Hum Eliminator® is a two-channel isolation transformer device that breaks ground loop between two offending pieces of gear. Simply place on cable connects to get rid of hum. Also converts between unbalanced / balanced connections and converts between ¼” and XLR connector types. The ¼” “smart jacks” accept any combination on TS (Tip / Sleeve) or TRS (Tip / Ring / Sleeve). Equipped with our own custom 1:1 isolation transformers.
The Morley® Line Level Shifter is also a two-channel isolation transformer device but designed to increase or decrease signal voltage back and forth between -10dBV and +4dBu. The Line Level Shifter also converts between unbalanced / balanced signals and converts between ¼” and XLR connector types. The ¼” “smart jacks” accept any combination on TS (Tip / Sleeve) or TRS (Tip / Ring / Sleeve). Equipped with our own custom 3:1 isolation step up / step down transformers.
